Programme Organisation

ISI programme has two tracks in each intake. Students can either start the programme in April in Japan (at University of Tsukuba), or they can start the programme in September in Europe (at University of Grenoble). The two tracks are called respectively Japan-Track and European-Track.

The courses during the first year aims at giving a common ground in computer sciences, creativity and social innovations. Then, students can follow two different tracks:

  • Neural Artificial Intelligence for Social Innovation (NAI4SI), at Ruhr-University Bochum, in Germany.
  • Big Data for Social Innovation (BD4SI), at Polytechnic University of Catalonia, in Spain
